Sugar production reached 3.14 million tons in the second half of September 2025. Since the beginning of the 2025/2026 harvest up to October 1st, 2025, accumulated sugar production reached 33. 52 million tons while in the same period at 2024/2025 harvest season it was reported 33.24 million tons. The volume of ethanol produced reached 2.21 billion liters in the second half of September. Cumulative ethanol output for the harvest stood 23.02 billion liters, comprising 8.64 billion liters of anhydrous ethanol and 14.38 billion liters of hydrous ethanol. Of the total fuel produced in the first half of July 2025, 369.61 million liters of biofuel were produced from corn.
