Sugar production reached 856.16 thousand tons in the second half of April 2025. Since the beginning of the 2025/2026 harvest up to May 1st, 2025, accumulated sugar production reached 1.58 million tons while in the same period at 2024/2025 harvest season it was reported 2.57 million tons. The volume of ethanol produced reached 985.12 million liters in the second half of April. Cumulative ethanol output for the harvest stood 1.90 billion liters, comprising 465.09 million liters of anhydrous ethanol and 1.44 billion liters of hydrous ethanol. Of the total fuel produced in the second half of April 2025, 358.87 million liters of biofuel were produced from corn.
