Sugar production reached 730.85 thousand tons in the first half of April 2025. Since the while in the same period at 2024/2025 harvest season it was reported 721,81 thousand tons. The volume of ethanol produced reached 918.14 million liters in the first half of April, with 179,12million liters of anhydrous ethanol and 739,02 million liters of hydrous ethanol. Of the total fuel produced in the first half of April 2025, 358,03 million liters of biofuel were produced from corn.
