UNICA at COP30 – “Regulatory harmonization to drive energy transition”

Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) are designed according to the specific challenges, realities, and priorities of each country. With the adoption of the Global Stocktake, the next updates to NDCs must align with the global goal of tripling renewable energy capacity by 2030, creating a window of opportunity to expand projects that reflect each country’s conditions and resources. 

This panel will explore how regulatory harmonization and coordinated policy frameworks can unlock the full potential of the energy transition—leveraging synergies between transport, industry, and clean fuels to accelerate global decarbonization.
